R U OK? Day
R U OK? Day is an important day for everyone, and especially those in family law. We see firsthand the emotional toll that family law matters can take on our clients. We pour our heart and soul into making sure our clients are ok. They are going through one of the most difficult times in their lives and we’re here every step of the way to guide them through the difficulties of their matter and to help them emotionally get through the rough period and out the other side to a brighter future.
R U OK? Day is a reminder for us to check in with our clients and make sure they are doing ok. It’s also a time for us to reflect on how we can do better to support our clients through their matter.
So on R U OK? Day, Parker Coles Curtis want to reach out and let you know we’re thinking about you and your wellbeing, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. There’s no shame in admitting you’re not OK and asking for help, a chat or a shoulder to cry on.
And if you know someone who is going through a tough time, a divorce or separation, please start a conversation with them. You never know what might be going on behind the scenes, and a simple question could make all the difference. Take the time to simply check in with them and see how they’re really doing. You might just make a world of difference.
Let’s pledge to support each other through tough times. Together, as a caring community, we can make a difference by asking one simple question.
Who will you check in with and ask R U OK?
If you are feeling lost, alone, or just need someone to talk to, there is always someone waiting on the other end of the line. No matter what time of day or night it is, there are people ready and willing to listen. They will never judge you, and they will always be there to lend a compassionate ear. Sometimes all we need is someone to listen, and that is exactly what these wonderful people provide. So if you are in a dark place, please pick up the phone and reach out. Someone is always waiting to listen.
